design & visual identity of brands: Mortem Boligryd & Bizarre Vintage
The new visual identity for Mortem Boligryd and Bizarre Vintage is built on a shared narrative of transformation and continuity. Mortem Boligryd specializes in clearing out estates — both death estates and moving residences — with care, respect and attention to detail. As a natural extension of this work, the company also runs Bizarre Vintage, which handles the resale of curated furniture and restored finds sourced through these clearances.
Previously, the butterfly had been used as a symbol of rebirth and renewal. This symbolism has been carried into the new identity, where it becomes a central icon for Bizarre Vintage — representing the revived, repurposed life of objects once left behind. The butterfly also informs the form language of the new Mortem logo, creating a subtle visual link between the two brands. Together, they form a coherent universe, with a wide color palette and simple typographic design.
